My experience with Jack Anderson these past 2 weeks for commercial property rental is nothing but a positive experience. Jack managed to show me the property I am interested within the next day and throughout the whole process of finding the perfect spot that aligns with our need, Jack constantly keep us abreast of the communications between our potential landlord and us - all I can say is that from this point forward should any need arises for any commercial property transaction I will only put my need in Jack's capable and professional hands.

I had been in correspondence with the agent Jordin for a month firming up on a coming commercial development. I had made it exceedingly clear that I was committed and motivated to lease a 1400sq drive-thru building and a 500sqft Kiosk located in the same area. She asked for me to submit a LOI and include in her words "I would need a letter of intent to lease or proposed terms: base rent, size, term, TI, Free rent... "

Which I did for both the Kiosk and Drive Thru to begin negotiations. She said she'd submit them and get back to me. Submitted on May 5th, got a response on May 13th. During that time in between I called a few times and left a message. No response until the email on the 13th.

She informed me that someone submitted a day after mine, offered $4 more per square foot, and that the landlords went with them

I was never given a chance to counter offer and made a proposal based off her guidance. When I called to inquire what happened and why I wasn't given an opportunity to counter she said she'd call me back. 4hrs later I called her back to follow up.

During our conversation she told me that since they offered more that the land lords went with them and gave them exclusivity for coffee and would no longer build the Kiosk. $4 more! It baffles me that, before construction has begun (they have broke ground) that the landlords wouldn't:

A: Entertain a bid war and get more money
B: Turn down a bid that would lease two locations netting them a greater profit.

If I had just lost a bid war that'd be one thing, but Jordin didn't give me, or the landlords she represents, the opportunity to properly conduct business. I have been a business owner since 2012 and have leased multiple locations. This is not how business is done. She claimed that this is how it goes and that she couldn't notify me that another offer came in. Even though a week before she told me that there were other interested parties.

I'm deeply dissatisfied with the professionalism of Jordin and how this situation was handled.
