I’ve followed Sophie through 2 salons and now support her at her own business. She keeps up with modern trends and listens to what you ask. Highly professional and truly a fun person to be around. Currently, she is doing builder gel on me which has no tip or extension on my natural nail and I’m obsessed my nails have never been this healthy and long ever! It’s a technique that isn’t really offered in Grand Rapids salons so I love how modern the technique is. I get so many compliments on my nails.

Sam and Lisa are the absolute BEST! They have changed me from someone who typically never wanted to get their nails done to absolutely falling in love with them. Everyone at the shop is welcoming and the designs are amazing.

The absolute best nail salon in GR; they are one of the few that offer gel overlays and poly gel builder - and they have grown my natural nails to the longest they've ever been. Gnoc, Sophie, Thai and honestly all of the techs are just wonderful humans and thoroughly skilled. Highly recommend this nail bar.

Amazing experience from beginning to end. Complimentary coffee, tea and pop. I HIGHLY recommend Sophie (owner). I’ve seen her for years and have never been disappointed. She can do whatever you put in front of her & nails it every time. 100/10 experience 100% of the time! 🙂

Walked in without knowing there was a new owner. But I was pleasantly surprised to be able to sit with Tai ,the new owners. She hooked me up for a reasonable price. I love the custom nails. Also the shop was very welcoming and clean. Make sure you feed the meter tho!!

I have never gotten my nails done before until today & I had no idea what to even ask for regarding what I wanted or how the process worked. I am happy to say that I had a wonderful experience here at City Nail Bar for my first time. The ladies who work there are super friendly and helpful. The lady I was with asked me what I wanted and made sure to deliver! She talked me through each step and taught me a lot about getting my nails done for the future. I definitely will be a returning customer!!

The place is made special by the people who work there. Ngoc made me feel welcome with coffee and a helpful attitude. She is charming and professional but most of all talented!

The atmosphere was decorated and tasteful right before halloweekend!

I loved the attitude that this was a place to come back to.

Best nail salon in town, the establishment was clean and organized. They had some fun decorations up for Halloween and the staff there was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had Riley as my nail tech and she was so incredible, she did such a great job. I have been telling all my friends about this spot and they are so excited to check it out. I'm glad I went with this location, its close to home and the vibes were ultimately right. I can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for pampering me and making me feel like a baddie ? I love my nails ?
