My sister and cousin were happy to be able to get a last-minute appointment. They are two teenage girls that received rushed service. They cut my cousin cuiticle, causing her to bleed. They nicked her multiple times. Her and my sister were in and out with 25 minutes of walking in the door. My cousins had a mani with gel nails done, which have already chipped, possibly because the UV unit is broken and had to be turned back on multiple times. My sister asked for a full set of rounded french tips and reiceved almond shaped tips instead. The french tips had to be deremeled at home as they were sloppy on the underneath part. They were also very thick. The price okay they we just wish the service was the same service that we received in the past with our older relatives.

My friend and I came here to get manicures and from the get go there were issues. We came a little early to look at colors and they made a big deal about it. My friend wanted an acrylic set with regular polish and her nail tech wouldn’t stop pushing to get gel. After saying no several times she finally gave in. 3 days later she had a large bubble underneath filled with uncured polish and had to fix her nail herself.

I decided to get an sns dip manicure. When filing my nails with the electric file, my nail tech destroyed my cuticles and I was in a lot of pain. She made 3 of my fingers bleed. I thought she was done but she kept going at my cuticles, another 2-3 times after the dip powder was applied. Immediately after the manicure was over my fingers hurt and stung very badly and my pinky swelled up quite a bit. The next day the cuticle on my thumb looked like it had receded and it scabbed up pretty bad. My pinky developed a blood blister and it’s still there 2 weeks later. I have scabs all around my nails from her being so rough. The nails looked okay, but were lumpy and not consistent in the shape or length. They also didn’t have us wash our hands which, in the moment, we didn’t think about, but looking back that’s another concern.

This is the best nail salon in Appleton- hands down. Family owned and operated, extremely professional and great customer service. They are reasonably priced and do a super job!

Nope. No. Don’t go. I unexpectedly had to travel to Appleton and was overdue for my normal gel manicure. Couldn’t wait until I got home and now I regret it. Super fast. Didn’t take direction well. I noted several of my nails had thick spots and were not even. She said it looked ok. Here we are less than 24 hours later and this is what happened: bubbled and opened and peeled back. I’ve got another one on the other hand that looks just the same. Not even going to go back to get it fixed.

I booked an appointment to get extensions and a dipped nail ombre. It is ridiculous how the main nail tech kept pushing me to pick a different shape of nail even though I clearly wanted stilettos. I ignored her after a while but she kept saying "long nail not good for you... more expensive too!" Lady, I don't usually get my nails done, so I'm fine with spending a larger amount of money since I have a special occasion coming up. I told her that the cost wasn't a problem. She wouldn't let it up. She eventually gave me very uneven stilettos.

I showed her a picture of the ombre I wanted, she once again put up a fight and said that the style was too much work for her. (MIND YOU HER RATES AND SERVICES SIGN ON THE WALL INCLUDE OMBRE). She decided to give no effort and decided to do an ombre really messily and grainy. She said "see I told you. One color is better."

I said no.. you're just making it dusty looking. She got offended at that point, but I decided to stay quiet the rest of the manicure.

She cut into my skin on four different edges with her nail filer and dipped my bleeding fingers in the actual container of the dip powder.

This is disgusting and probably a safety hazard... I'm sure they're violating some health codes. Imagine the ease of spread of STI's and STD's due to their lack of care, interest, and hygiene.

She charged my nails with her tip already included. No ma'am. You don't deserve my tip. If I want to give you a tip I will because you deserve it -- but clearly you don't.

Cindy is fantastic. Very nice. Clean place. I can always get in. Just had a pedi and honestly the best leg and foot massage I've ever had in my life! Cindy does my manicure and she always does the best work. I love that I don't spend two hours there for a manicure. I feel like it lasts a very long time. My new favorite place!

This place is the best! My dip manicure comes out perfect and lasts weeks (I have to go in not because it's failing, but because they have grown out so much) and the pedicures are heavenly. Do yourself a favor and get the deluxe pedicure--it is beyond worth it!
