My favorite nail spot in the city. Clean and professional. High quality and durable. I work in a bar and studio and they last me 4 weeks. This is the only salon I’ve found that can bring any design or concept I have come to life with intricate detail. The skill the nail artists here have is unmatched. Always looking forward to my next appointment!

Vanity projects is my to go for the best nails in the city! I love that they have a ton of highly skilled artists so it’s pretty easy to get an appointment even though they are in high demand. I do really love Jennifer but you can’t go wrong with any of them! Highly recommend.

The best nail salon in NYC. Couldn’t recommend more. Ana Maria and Yoshiko are exceptional and put so much time and effort into making sure my nails are perfect. Will never go to any other salon. Photos from a visit with Ana Maria below

I love this place they're so meticulous, efficient, and every nail tech is such an artist! They use high quality products that last a long time and don't cause damage when removed. I can't ever get my nails done anywhere else now

One thing is that simple/middle/complex nail art is billed differently and it would be nice if the techs could say what your design is categorized as so you can stay in budget. But that's a very minor thing it's amazing work here

Spot is really cool and low key. Whatever you want they have the artist to do the art. It’s called art because they do art, you show the image they produce the artist. FYI there is someone for everything there. A spot I will be frequenting more often. A total recommendation.

I feel so bad writing a poor review because my nail tech was sweet but my manicure is noooot it. I know Vanity Projects for their artistry so I figured my request -- natural looking Gel-X in one color -- would be no problem. I have super brittle natural nails that don't grow out well so I really wanted my manicure to look natural.

Unfortunately, my nails are different lengths, filed unevenly, and don't look like the reference pictures I showed. Again, my tech was sweet but I don't think I received a lot of attention to detail. Have to fix this at home. Won't go back 🙁

Edit: Now that I'm home I can say this definitely ruined my day lol. They're so bad it'd be hilarious if I hadn't looked forward to this all week

I’ve been going to this place for a few years. Their nail techs are beyond talented. However, they often have timing and scheduling issues. It was my first time doing a manicure/ nail combo. I booked it through their website and it automatically schedules the times for you. My manicure finished early and they told me I had to wait 40 minutes until my pedicures scheduled time. I asked if I could reschedule because I didn’t want to wait 40 minutes and they said yes but we’re taking your deposit, which is the full amount of the service, since these were your times- The times they allocated to me. I thought this was pretty ridiculous. I’ve never had to wait between a manicure/ pedicure before. My pedicure also ended going over the “scheduled time” by 30 minutes. I feel bad writing this because the technicians are SO sweet, but VP’s has timing and scheduling issues which could use improvement.
