Owner is a very nice person, but brings other people to the salon to braid your hair if she is booked, and she will not let you know before you get to the salon. She (Emily A.) will tell you to come in at 10am & you may not get serviced until 12pm. Lots of children running around also. Some of the other hair stylists can be rude as well. Over all they pretty much do what most African braid shops do. Asks too many questions that doesn't have to do with your hair as well.

I am a hair stylist as well (not a braider). Brought my daughter in to get ghana braids. They were red, and I was told that they were telling her she's too young for red hair. Originally wanted goddess braids, but was told she couldn't get them. Willing to pay the price if done right. Hair braiders are also VERY nosey and rude. Will upcharge you if they see that you have more than what they charge. Poor first and last experience.

I took my child to get her hair braided and they did a terrible job. They braided her hair too tight so she had bumps and sores in the front and back of her head. I paid over 100 dollars for the hairstyle and it didn't last a full week. Very disappointed.

Braids were too tight for human scalp, but a fabalous job on my head, kept my Ghauna Braids for over a month. Thanks Emily, just stop braiding ppl edges so dam tight. Thats why ppl bald around the edges or the pain is so great they have to take it down. Money spent for jack, because it's sooooo painful. Otherwise she's cool and talented.

Disclaimer...they did not hair in my profile pic. True, the will overcharge you if they think u got cash. Clean, AC, cable, ok chairs. Slow braiders. They dnt do alot of hair styles. They dnt braid tiny, thin braids, dnt do micro braids... Last time they did Senegalese braids for $180. Now they want $200!! SMDH.
