It's going on a month since I had my nails damaged at this nail salon. They are like onion skin--bending, peeling, and sometimes bleeding. They were sanded into oblivion right down to the cuticle area, so it will be months until they grow out. The manager (owner?) was a loud-mouth bully who made fun of me for coming back in with bandages on two nails that were bleeding. He also would not issue a refund until I signed a paper saying I was satisfied with my nails.

cute nails, but had 2 of my acrylics lifting when I got there, asked them to fix them, they just put acrylic on top. Next day Ii saw they were still lifted, so they absolutely did not fix them. 5 days later, a chunk of one of the nails broke off because it was lifted, and the other one I asked them to fix is about to come off too. Not a good experience for my first time at this nail place. I don't think i will return or recommend.

I had never tried this salon before. I got a full set about a 3/4 inch long. And within in a week, 3 have broken. I’ve gotten my nails long for years and have never had this happen. I went to get them fixed and the guy said “Well you have to be careful, long nails break easily” and then they charged me $15 for a “fix”. I’ve had 4 inch acrylics that lasted longer than these, it’s not a matter of being careful. They lady who did them and fixed them was very nice and I don’t think it was her technique that had anything to do with the breakage. Possibly faulty product or bad brand. They seem like they may have other good services or if you want shorter nails.
TLDR: Maybe don’t go here if you want long nails, they break quick

I have been in the Wausau area for over 5 years now, shopping for an excellent nail tech. Well, I finely found Kevin @ Diamond Nail Bar!! Kevin is so talented with great attention to detail! I never have had to wait. (I call to schedule an appointment). Kevin is thorough and it is very clean! I think the quality is definitely in line with the prices. He nails it every time with what color/style I want. I'm very happy there!!!

I’ve been here twice and will only make an appointment with the guy. I got my acrylics done the first time with him although he’s not much of a social person, best acrylic job ever! I went in as a walk in today and the lady that was doing my nails didn’t get any coverage with the solo polish, I wanted a simple flower my three year old sister could do and she didn’t do it she had to get another lady to stamp it! It doesn’t look anything like the picture! Only coming back for the guy.

Extremely friendly staff! I have been to many nail salons in the past where they get you in and out as fast as possible to fit in as many customers, but this isn't the case here. I asked for the deluxe pedicure and the young man that did it took his time as I sat back and relaxed. I was so impressed with all the things that were included in the deluxe package. They really do give you the extra treatments you are looking for, all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend stopping in!
