I went to Nail Bar Milwaukee twice. This salon is a fantastic place to go as long as you understand how to book services correctly within the booking system. The salon runs on a very tight schedule and requires the customer to be very specific in their booking process via multiple add-on selections in order to maximize the number of appointments they can accommodate. This in itself is not a bad thing, again, as long as you understand exactly what it is you need and what that is called in their system. There are no full descriptions or photo examples when you are booking in order to make this process more intuitive, and despite having passable knowledge about nails, I booked the wrong service, overpaid on my service since I put down a deposit, and was not reimbursed the difference at the end of my appointment, which was about $20. I hope that difference was given to the tech as a tip, but I have no way of knowing that.
My tech was polite and professional. There were some issues with shaping my nails, and some unevenness of the application, but I'm willing to chalk that up to simply being a little off that day.
All in all, I did not have a perfect experience, but it also wasn't so bad that I would warn anyone against going. Hence: four stars. I think the perfect Nail Bar Milwaukee customer is someone who knows exactly what they want, down to very specific details. If you're someone like me, who knows generally what you want but perhaps not all the details of what you need in order to get there, you're definitely going to need to call ahead or try a different place.
The salon itself is clean, well-lit, and has a visually-interesting layout.

I have been seeing Vicky for a few years now for regular manicures. Her work is always consistent, timely, and in my opinion…perfect! I work in healthcare and have eczema, which means that my hands are pretty dry and sometimes cracked. Manicures were previously a painful experience for me, until I started seeing Vicky. Vicky always takes special care with my hands and cuticles so that my manicure is a pleasant experience. My hands are healthier from her special care and skin care advice. Vicky is also just a lovely human to be around. I enjoy every manicure with her and the rest of the Nail Bar staff. Nail bar is always clean and their staff are friendly and professional.

Highly recommend seeing Shari at Nail Bar in Walker’s Point! I went in for a new-to-me service and she talked me through all the differences, pros and cons of the artificial nail options. I went with Liquid Concept Nails and LOVE them. Super durable and look natural. I got a bunch of compliments on them. Shari was great!! Explained everything step by step, checked in with me along the way and was really patient when I wanted to change my color. I just had my first fill and they’re so pretty. Photos of my first set (lighter pink) and fill (purple). I’ve truly never left a nail salon feeling so satisfied with the outcome!

I’ve been going to Nail Bar since January of 2023. Vicky nursed my nails back to health from being tissue paper thin! She is always willing to try new designs and is accommodating with my schedule. I won’t go anywhere else.

Love this nail salon! It is super clean and the staff are all wonderful. Vee is my favorite and I very highly recommend her. I've been seeing her consistently for Gel x for just under a year and I've never been disappointed. She's very detail oriented, personable, and hilarious.

I got a dip mani chrome as a bday gift. after 1.5 hours with linda I left with terrible nails. I came back immediately. she fixed them after another hour of my time AND they are still not great. I regularly do my own nails and I have to say. I do better! for this price, chrome dip should be perfect. I don't expect these nails to last more than a week. so disappointed. I have photos of my not perfect chrome. the appt was Saturday 2pm and was booked under Arlene

I use be so shy coming to a Nail shop and get my nails clean up and toe done but Delila was exceptional! She made me feel incredibly welcome and at ease. The atmosphere was wonderful.
