Nail tech cut me several times and my thumb was so bad we couldn’t finish and I had to leave and come back to finish it later. I still paid almost $50 then they gave me a $25 gift card- but I just wanted it compensated for my time and pain. I appreciated the thought and the kindness they gave me i suppose but it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life getting my nails done. They were kind but it was extremely unsanitary (my blood was on the buffing sponge, brush to wipe off excess powder, towels, and they put my bloody thumb INTO the shared dip container). The nail ge h also kept putting more dip powder over my dried blood so now there’s dried blood trapped in the base of my nail. tried to politely and respectfully complain about the sanitary concerns and how bad my thumb was but yea I still had to pay and then come back later that day. It was just so much work and such a horrible process and so expensive! I live in Chicago and those are the same prices I see around here. I was just super disappointed they didn’t just credit me after I was kind about their huge inconvenience so I don’t think I will ever be back. This was my go to place unfortunately. However the owner who fixed my nails was very nice and she made my nails look beautiful. I don’t blame anyone just sad I wasn’t treated properly the first time. My nails ached for days after.

My girlfriend and I have visited this nail salon twice for pedicures, and we couldn't be happier with our experiences! Just yesterday, I treated my girlfriend to a manicure and pedicure, while I got a pedicure and it was fantastic.

The staff here is amazing, very friendly, attentive, and skilled. The quality of the services is top-notch, and every visit has exceeded our expectations. I’d give this place a perfect 10 out of 10!

If you’re looking for a great salon, look no further. We absolutely love it and will definitely be back!

(Nails by Mike, Feb 2024) I normally do my own gel nails because I've been on targeted therapy to treat stage 4 breast cancer for the past 3 years, which means my fingernails are brittle and sore and today my hands were too sore for me to complete without spending a whole day doing them. Out of desperation I tried Natural Nail Bar, and they did such a nice job with almost no pain in just a couple of hours. They got me in right away, gave me a friendly nail tech who was sensitive to my medical concerns and even more gentle than I am for myself when I do my own manicure. I got nail tips reinforced with polygel, then painted with blue cat-eye magnetic gel polish, and another tech completed the accent nails on each hand with tiny embossed leafy vines and a rock-hard top coat. I only wish I had more time (and money) for a pedicure, but I'm very happy with the overall outcome of my NNB manicure!

UPDATE: (Nails by Tony, 4/20/24) Nails done again today, and WOW! They said I could bring a photo of any design I wanted, see photos! (Purple & Lavender French Ombré Swoop Optical Illusions w/ silver liner details!!) It took a couple of hours, but he said he had no time limit for me! The staff is super nice, and the service is amazing!! Thanks for the gorgeous nails to help me feel pretty!!

UPDATE: (Nails by Olivia, May 2024) Monarch (copper-orange) Butterfly Wing Nails with builder gel, magnetic cat-eye polish, and black nail liner. Gorgeous! Allot 2 hours in your appointment when scheduling this level of detail. I love it! 5 stars again if I could!!! I get so many compliments on these!

UPDATE: (Butterfly Nails by Olivia, September 2024) Olivia allows me to bring my own polishes to my appointments, and this time I brought a HEMA-FREE polish by Aimeili (#BSL003) that I got on Amazon. This iridescent shimmer shifts between green and gold, but it came out purple and blue on top of Aimeili base coat when I checked at home. It changes color again when I wash my hands in cold water! (See index finger in green butterfly wings photo). I was her last client of the day, and she spent about 2 hours on these nails, so make sure you schedule extra time if you want a design like this on all 10 fingers. As always, these turned out BETTER than I imagined! I always feel like a GODDESS when I leave the Natural Nails Bar!

UPDATE: (Halloween Nails by Olivia, October 2024) Spooky pink nails for "Pinktober" (breast cancer awareness month) with little hand-painted death masks to remind women to get your regular mammograms and do your self-exams. The iridescent hot pink polish is by Aimeili (#002), which I ordered from Amazon. I love the friendly staff and attention to detail at NNB. I always leave feeling so good about myself.

UPDATE: (Nails by Janey, November 2024) Hot Cocoa inspired nails with a milky brown base, chrome powder, and sparkly sugar coating over the designs in time for my 34th wedding anniversary this month. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Allow 2 hours for a design like this.

I just moved here from the west coast and decided to try this place because I PERFER this type of salon. Maybe it's not for everyone (there are some harsh reviews that seem particularly harmful here) and that's fine but this is the first place that delivers EXACTLY what I ask for each time.

I went in to get a full short set. The technician started off by just gluing the tips on without sizing them first. She put one on completely crooked and I waited to see if she was going to remove n fix it or just leave it but she didn’t try to remove it so I said something. She got an attitude cuz she had to remove it. She then applied all the tips and cut them down very quick. All were not even. she then applied the acrylic in patches which I have never seen before. The acrylic was very uneven. Along the way she kept knicking my skin as well. I wanted them short but since she didn’t prep them properly she had to keep filing to get them straight. I had to tell her to stop because at that rate I wouldn’t have any nail. The nails are bumpy and uneven I am not happy with the services.

I came in for pedicure and the service was great! Winnie made my experience extra special as she was very sweet and asked how I was feeling throughout the experience. I got a Gate of Heaven P3 pedicure. The stones were my favorite part and tooootally worth it! Loved it all! Best pedicure I've had! ❤️

I had a great experience at Natural Nail Bar! I had a "Gate of Heaven" P3 pedicure with Hannah and she was so sweet, kind and caring the whole time. Always asking how I was doing and checking in. The stone massage was AMAZING! Best pedicure I've had!

I don’t have anything negative to say about my experience here!
I don’t typically get manicures, nonetheless “fake nails,” but they listened to what I asked for as far as length and I’m grateful they could accommodate my request to keep them shorter. I also got a pedicure!
My favorite technician is Lucy! She is so kind, funny and really did a wonderful job.
