On the Day

I turn up to be humiliated by the owner in front of customers ( no manners or etiquette)and to be told, the appointment is at 2pm and to go away and "come back", when infact I was right it was 1pm.

The owner showed no remorse at the time to then carry on with completing her client nails.

My Review

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to Sparbar by the owner. After driving an hour to attend an appointment scheduled for 1 PM, I was informed in front of other customers that I had arrived at the wrong time. This public correction was not only inaccurate but also deeply embarrassing. Upon reviewing our communication, it is clear that the appointment was indeed set for 1 PM.

Being asked to return an hour later was highly inconvenient, especially since I had taken time off work specifically for this appointment, which was crucial for my pre-flight preparations. The situation was handled poorly, nor any offer of goodwill to address the inconvenience caused. Instead, I was publicly humiliated, which is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Given this experience, I have decided to take my business elsewhere where I can expect reliable and respectful service.

This review is important for businesses to value their clients' time and dignity.

Visited for the first time today with my partner. We booked for 2 pedicures on a busy Saturday afternoon. We got stuck in traffic and were 10 minutes late for our appointment. I phoned ahead to let them know and they were really accommodating and understanding. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a team of lovely ladies who made us feel welcome straight away.

We sat down for our pedicures and decided that we also wanted to have manicures as well, normal for my partner and with gels for me. Our request was met with a wonderful attitude, the owner said she could do mine while I was having my pedicure done but wouldn't have time to fit in my partner as she wanted her ladies to have lunch before the next appointment. It was so refreshing to see the owner put the well being of her staff first rather than "chase the cash". We totally understood and respected the decision as we had made the request for an additional service out of the blue. The lady doing my partners pedicure finished and then said she had time to do his manicure too! I'd like to point out that the pedicures was not rushed to fit in the manicure. We were treated like royalty and the whole team wanted us to have a relaxing experience and not feel rushed. They had great attention to detail and took time to recheck our work throughout the treatments. We both left with lovely hands and feet. This is a little gem and is now our regular place for pampering. Thank you ladies for our lovely experience

Had the most anti aging kobido facial. Would highly recommend as the results are fantastic. Very friendly salon and very informative would highly recommend Spa Bar!

I have been coming to Spa Bar after seeing the variety of OPI colours they have and their practices within the salon. Denissa is incredible and does the best quality work. Appreciating that Spa Bar is a small business and has good values in terms of their quality and service, the price point Kiran has is justified. I highly recommend Spa Bar for your mani and pedi services if you want to maintain good nail health.

Great service. Staff are very friendly, helpful and create a relaxed atmosphere. Biosculpture & gel manis & pedis last long. Been going for years and no damage to nails as they don’t use drills. The facials are a treat too.
